FR. THADDAEUS LANCTON, MIC
was born on February 22, 1987 in Houston, TX to a Catholic family of five. His childhood dream was to become an Air Force pilot and pilot the space shuttle, but the Lord called him to the priesthood. He attended Strake Jesuit, entered the Jesuits briefly for one year, then discerned out and entered the Marians of the Immaculate Conception. He studied at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he obtained a BA in Philosophy, then he studied in the Philippines, Washington, DC, and Poland for theology. He recently received his Licentiate in Sacred Theology and Doctorate in Dogmatic Theology from Katolicki Uniwersitet Lubelski (Catholic University of Lublin, Poland), and a Masters in Psychology from Divine Mercy University (the Institute for the Psychological Sciences). His hobbies include reading, writing, running, and baking. His first book Stepping on the Serpent: The Journey of Trust with Mary was published through Marian Press and is available on ShopMercy.org.
