The_Calling_of_Saint_Matthew-Caravaggo_(1599-1600) Today we hear in the Gospels how Jesus saw Matthew, gazed upon him, and called him. Do we pass by those who need us, or do we stop, serve them, and bring them to Jesus? Furthermore, do we allow Jesus to gaze upon us and call us out of darkness and sin?
